Transco, the gas line company, has informed us:
This work is tentatively scheduled to begin on or about August 18. Once begun, the work will take place, on and off, including during evening and nighttime hours, through on or about August 20. These dates are tentative and subject to change based on logistical issues.
You may notice increased personnel and activity on our Right of Way and at the existing compressor station during the work periods. These procedures involve venting minor amounts of natural gas along with air flow. All of this work is supervised by experienced personnel. All required notifications to local utilities and first responders will be made daily, both before any work begins and after completion. There is no cause for concern, but please be aware that during these periods there may be times when you hear noise or detect the odor of natural gas due to the venting operations.
